I ‘ve been so blessed with sun and amazing weather lately, which obviously makes it’s marks on both skin and hair. When you like me have blond highlights they attend to get easily bleached by the sun, which I don’t like. So either I use a hat like this one or I tie a scarf around my head and gather my hair in a small bun – also a very easy cover-up if you have a bad hair-day!

Even though it’s difficult to image myself being all wrapped in knits right now, I couldn’t help craving some heavy knitting after seeing the new Céline Fall Campaign. Daria Werbowy is starring in it again for the 6th time with Jurgen Teller capturing her “loungey” poses –  a dream team, that continuesly blows my mind!

I’m longing to go back to L.A. right now just going through these pictures. Here are a few of my favorite spots from over there. Even though I’m not into those major tourist places, there is something pretty special about the energy on Hollywood Boulevard – you have to go and find your favorite star!

I really like the area around Melrose Place – there are so many beautiful shops ( like The Row store I posted a few days ago) and small local coffee shops like Alfreds, which makes the best Almond milk cappuccino. There is a super cute  marked every sunday, where you can buy flowers and organic fruits and vegetables – seriously not only a treat for your eyes!

The amazing thing about L.A. is that you have the best of both worlds. There is not only great stores and restaurants, but you also have the ocean with incredible wide beaches. Venice Beach is probably the most iconic one of them, but it is also very crowded. That’s why I prefer Manhattan beach, which is less touristed and more local in a way. After spending hours in the big waves, then you have to take a stroll in the small village above – you can get some really good green juices and homemade ice-cream.

If you like me are into organic eating, then you have go for lunch at Urth Caffé. They make great salads, coffee and iced green tea – just the perfect shopping pit-stop in Melrose.

I’ve been hanging out around Shoreditch all day, which is one of my favorite areas in London..some think it’s too ghetto, but I just love the chilled vibe. One of my favorite places to visit is the Shoreditch House, which has an amazing rooftop terrace with a pool – so convenient to go for a swim, when there is a heatwave racing like now!

We knew that a new trend had landed when Karl Lagerfeld chose to have the Chanel pre-fall ‘14 show in a rodeo hall in Dallas.  The show was all about the romantic elements of the Wild West – great ponchos paired up with more rugged styles of the west, like cowboy boots and fringed bags. Now the pre-fall collections have started to pop up at the world-wide-webshops and you know for sure that the Wild West has become a key theme of the coming season. You don’t have to go all in on this; but I would definitely go for the cowboy boot or a printed blanket coat. I have already integrated the fringes in my everyday look, but keeping it simple and not too flashy with the black Proenza Schouler shoulder bag.
