Kick-starting my weekend with an energizing and healthy boost - a juice detox made by pure greens! Last time I was in NYC I discovered how good green juices taste, so got pretty thrilled when I discovered that I could get my hands on these tasty ones in Copenhagen – 6 a day for 3 days - I’ve already started and feel super great!
I’ve become very fond of the high-waisted pants – some how I never realized that it makes your proportions look even better – looks like I have seriously long legs!! Also combining it with a cropped knit or top adds a sexy twist , which sometimes is needed. I have been eyeing these pants with the ruffle detail for a while – they are so elegant, but super wearable with a knit or t-shirt for an everyday look.
Black is the new black – if you ask me! We have heard it over and over again – this, that and every other color in the pantone library is “the new black”. But to me, nothing beats the real thing. I wouldn’t mind if every single one of these items were hanging in my closet this winter, from the super warm and fluffy jacket from Acne Studios to the shearling boots from Gianvito Rossi!
It’s time to get down to the first layer with Acne Studios, who yesterday relaunched a underwear collection. The collection features the Acne Studios logo on the waistband and comes in a regular and high waist briefs as well as boxers for both men and women. “Underwear should be beige or skin-colored, because I prefer no underwear” says creative director Jonny Johansson , which explains the choice of the neutral colors. In my opinion also something that makes them more basic and simple, which I really like. What really makes the collection stand out is the beautiful packaging and the amazing campaign pictures and the 6 different videos shoot by Ryan McGinley – the collection is limited and available in a few selected stores and online from today.
A wide leather belt is a must have in my basic wardrobe this fall – not only to use on top of an oversized coat to give them a feminine curve like here, but also together with an A-line skirt and a thin turtleneck for the seasons 60′s look or just on top of a heavy knit.
Finally I had took my time to get my hair done, which was MUCH needed – I went for a warm honey color, which works well together with my already winter pale skin. My hairdresser, Mie at Studio Cim Mahony, worked her magic when she cut my bangs – the length is more versatile now and easy for my to style like here with a feminine sideways.
