I’ve become very fond of the high-waisted pants – some how I never realized that it makes your proportions look even better – looks like I have seriously long legs!! Also combining it with a cropped knit or top adds a sexy twist , which sometimes is needed. I have been eyeing these pants with the ruffle detail for a while – they are so elegant, but super wearable with a knit or t-shirt for an everyday look.
A wide leather belt is a must have in my basic wardrobe this fall – not only to use on top of an oversized coat to give them a feminine curve like here, but also together with an A-line skirt and a thin turtleneck for the seasons 60′s look or just on top of a heavy knit.
Finally I had took my time to get my hair done, which was MUCH needed – I went for a warm honey color, which works well together with my already winter pale skin. My hairdresser, Mie at Studio Cim Mahony, worked her magic when she cut my bangs – the length is more versatile now and easy for my to style like here with a feminine sideways.
Speaking about the 70′s vibe.. A while ago I bought this beautiful silk scarf from Gucci in these brown, beige and golden shades. It adds something more playful and yet still classic to a simple white shirt or t-shirt – and for sure something we will see much more of next season.
Who else can make a check print from a “Laundry-bag” into something extraordinary and still current then Phoebe Philo for Céline? Well she achieved it with her FW-13 collection, which was some of her most stand-out pieces that season. I found this turtleneck on a flea-market last weekend and had to go for it – it was seriously a real scoop!
